Price
A diamond's price depends on the factors carat weight (size), clarity, color, and cut grade. Find the right trade-off between these "4C" in order to maximize your budget. For more information, go to our diamond guide.
Carat

The carat weight expresses, how heavy a diamond is and is related to its size. One carat corresponds to 0.2 grams. The bigger and heavier a diamond is, the more costly it gets. However, also the factors clarity, color and cut grade influence a diamond's value.
Color

The color scale from D to Z measures the colorlessness of a diamond: While a diamond of grade D is completely transparent, a yellowish tint becomes apparent at the lower end of the scale.
Clarity

The clarity scale measures the amount of inclusions, or little "impurities", inside the diamond. Here, it's worth to check in the diamond's certificate where exactly the inclusions are located: If they are close to the diamond's edges, they are not as striking as when located directly in the middle under the biggest facet.
